1st ever San Francisco Cruiser Ride, Sept. 17 2004

The first ever San Francisco cruiser ride was a rager. Above, making smoothies with the Byerley Bicycle Blender on the pier.

We started at Giants stadium -- moments after we pulled away, fireworks erupted over the stadium as Barry Bonds hit his 700th home run.

The Down Low Glow was in effect as we cruised the waterfront towards Pier 39.

One of San Francisco's most beautiful bicycles -- Jay Broemmel's Golden Gate Bridge bike. The bike was painted with real bridge paint, and features miniature cars on the roadway. Two sets of Ice blue Down Low Glow under the roadway give the illusion of water underneath the bridge. More pictures of this masterpiece are coming!

Music man Mike co-organized the ride and brought his moonlight disco cruiser.

We even had a guest rapper named Viscious take turn on the mike. (His rap was peaceful.)

The next SF Cruiser Ride is April 8, 2005. See more pictures from the first ride at Mike Strasser's photo page.
