Hot Summer Fun in Santa Cruz

In early August '04, Fossil Fool and the Juice Peddler took the Mobile Party down to Santa Cruz and San Jose to get the word out about the Down Low Glow. After a hard day of touring Santa Cruz's many bike shops, we took our party bikes to the beach.

We were adopted by a huge family from Sacramento, continuing their annual beach day tradition. After admiring the Soul Cycle, Terence asked me to do a little rap.

"Do the first one again!"

San Jose Bike Swap hosted by South Syde Cycles

The next day we set up a booth at the Bike Swap. We had to wake up at 7AM, but the crowd was very small until about noon.

We met some interesting people, but found out that selling the Down Low Glow in bright sunshine is hard work. The black tent in the left of JoJo in the picture is our "portable, mobile darkness booth."
